Water Question

OK I have a question about water for all you nutiritionally-minded folks out there!
 
How much stuff can you add to your water and it still count as water?  I mean decaf coffee doesn't count towards your 60+ daily ounces, even though it's almost all water.  What about the little flavor packets?  They're sugar-free and no calories, but does it still count?  I can see caffeine making it not count, but what about diet caffeine free soda?  This may seem like a really dumb question, but it's something I was really wondering about.  Does your water have to be PURE water to be beneficial?

Beginning the Journey

My name is Jill.  My best friend Nicky and I live in south Arkansas.  We are each married and we each have
two small children.  We are also both overweight.  We've both been greatly inspired by the hit reality show
"The Biggest Loser", and we feel that now is our time to take back control over our bodies and our lives.

Why I want to lose weight:  So that I can play with my children; so I can wear cute clothes;

so I can have the self-confidence back that I've lost

Why I want to lose weight: So I can have more self-confidence; so I can look better in my clothes
